Saint-Clar is ideally situated for exploring the region and is just a few kilometres from the historic towns of Lectoure and Fleurance.

Saint-Clar, with its two churches and two arcaded squares, is steeped in history. A colourful market is held in the village on Thursday mornings.

This part of southwest France is internationally renowned for its gastronomy which includes local specialities such as duck confit, Armagnac, garlic and melon.
